Homak POPS Updated Points & Remainder Touring Race Schedule

The Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series Weekly and Touring points are updated on the website https://pennohioprostocks.com/pops-2025-points. As of 7/13/25, leading the way in weekly points after 14 races in is John Boardman with 1208 points. Boardman has 5 race wins this season (4 at Stateline and 1 at Eriez). Chris Withers sits 17 points behind Boardman and has raced 15 times, securing 2 wins (1 at Stateline and 1 at Eriez). Brandon Connor is currently 3rd in weekly points after 13 races with 1164 points and 2 visits to victory lane (Dog Hollow and Hummingbird). In the 4th spot is Cody Koteles with 1147 points, 13 races in and picking up a win at Lernerville just last weekend. Andrew Hammond rounds out the top 5 with 1136 points after 12 races. Hammond was involved in a nasty crash at the touring series “Ray’s Race” at Sharon Speedway on June 28th. Fortunately, Hammond was unscathed after barrel rolling, however the car was not so lucky. We are hopeful the young driver is able to rejoin the series later in the season to continue his contention for the weekly and touring point championships.

After three Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Touring Series races in, Bobby Whitling, our 2017 touring series champion, leads with 298 total points. Whitling secured solid finishes with a 4th at PPMS, a 4th at Eriez, and a 3rd at Sharon. In 2nd just 24 points behind Whitling is Tim Bish, followed by Jackson Humanic in 3rd with 266 points, Brett Hutira in 4th with 248 points and youngster, Hayden Fosnaught in 5th with 243 points. Each driver in the top 5 has raced all 3 touring events. Touring Series’ Registered drivers will have one drop race of the lowest points at the end of the season to determine the champion. With that being said, 4-time touring point and 3-time weekly point champion, Chris Schneider is currently in 6th with 210 points after racing two tour races and securing the win at each. Schneider will drop the Eriez race that he did not attend. In a similar situation is Kyle Couchenour who sits in 7th with 2 races in and a win and 2nd place finish. Couchenour will drop the PPMS race. Although he raced the PPMS race, Couchenour did not register with the series until after the event. Hammond is in 8th with 182 points after 2 races, Curt Bish is in 9th with 159 points after 2 races and our 2024 Touring Series Champion, Josh Seippel sits in 10th with 149 points after 2 races.
