Homak POPS Weekend Roundup, Updated Weekly Points, & Touring events
Mother Nature’s temperamental flare ups have proven to cause havoc on racing action. Despite the unfavorable weather, four Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series sanctioned tracks were able to get racing action in this past weekend. Lernerville Speedway and Dog Hollow Speedway raced on Friday, while Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway and Stateline Speedway raced on Saturday. Friday’s winners both had 55 in their car #. First-time winner, Tyler Schneider drove his #155 SS Chassis to victory in a thriller at Lernerville over a stout field of cars. Familiar face to victory lane, Brandon Connor parked his #55 in victory lane at Dog Hollow. AJ Poljak is no stranger to the winner’s circle at PPMS and found his way there on Saturday. Meanwhile at Stateline, Jason Black commanded his home track and collected the $2000 paycheck in the 50-lap special.
