15th Annual Ed Laboon Memorial Postponed to June 13

IMPERIAL, PA — Due to the forecasted threat of severe and inclement weather throughout the region on Saturday, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway officials have made the decision to postpone the 15th Annual Ed Laboon Memorial to Saturday, June 13.

The decision was made out of respect for the competitors, crews, and fans who travel significant distances to attend one of the Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series’ premier events. With teams expected to travel from across Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and surrounding areas, speedway officials felt it was in everyone’s best interest to make an early decision rather than risk unnecessary travel expenses amid an uncertain weather forecast.

The rescheduled event on June 13 will now feature an expanded program headlined by the 15th Annual Ed Laboon Memorial for the Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series. Also joining the card will be the RUSH Sprint Car Series, Rohrich Parts Center & Chevrolet Performance RUSH Late Models, Crawford Auto Repair Four Cylinders, and Kehm Oil Young Guns.

Fan-favorite promotions originally scheduled for this weekend will also move to June 13, including Berks Foods $1 Hot Dog Night and the Berks Foods Hot Dog Eating Contest, creating one of the most anticipated events of the 2026 season at Dirt’s Monster Half Mile.

The Ed Laboon Memorial has grown into one of the region’s most prestigious Pro Stock events, annually attracting many of the area’s top competitors to compete in honor of one of Western Pennsylvania racing’s most respected supporters. Speedway officials are committed to ensuring the event receives the opportunity it deserves under favorable conditions.

An additional rain date for the Ed Laboon Memorial is currently being discussed by speedway officials and Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series representatives. That date will be announced once finalized.

All advance ticket purchases will be automatically processed for a full refund.

Fans can now make plans to join us on Saturday, June 13. Pit gates will open at 5:00 PM, warm-ups will begin at 6:00 PM, qualifying is scheduled for 6:30 PM, and racing will begin at 7:00 PM.

Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway would like to thank its fans, competitors, sponsors, and staff for their understanding and continued support as officials work to provide the best possible experience for everyone involved.
