Homak POPS updated points & $2500 to win, $250 to start Tour Race at Tri City
The Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series Weekly and Touring points are updated on the website https://pennohioprostocks.com/pops-2025-points.
Former Homak Penn Ohio Touring Series Champion, Bobby Whitling, currently leads the way in both weekly and touring series points. Whitling, with 19 races in the 2025 season, has just 3 sanctioned wins but has been a consistent finisher with just 4 race finishes outside of the top 5 and 3 out of the top 10. The weekly points battle is still tight and will come down to the wire as Brett Hutira currently sits in 2nd just 4 points behind Whitling; Jason Black in 3rd just 7 from the point leader; 4th place, Chris Withers is now 20 points away from the top spot; and, Brandon Connor in 5th is 21 points behind Whitling. Sixth through 10th include: Josh Seippel (30 point deficit), Cody Koteles (31 point deficit), John Boardman (32 point deficit), Tim Bish (49 point deficit) and Jake Dietz (51 point deficit). For weekly points, the best 12 point races are used. The touring points battle will continue to heat up until the end as drivers are able to drop their worst point race. To date, five drivers have raced all 7 touring series races. There are still 4 touring series races left in the 2025 season. In 2nd place is Jackson Humanic, 14 points away from leader Whitling. Tim Bish sits in 3rd and is 18 points out of the lead. Hutira secures the 4th spot, 33 points from 1st place. Hayden Fosnaught is in 5th with 106 points behind Whilting.
