The Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series Weekly and Touring points are updated on the website https://pennohioprostocks.com/pops-2025-points.
The final touring series race of the 2025 season for the Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series is upon us; and, it is a BIG ONE. The Dow/Kyle Memorial race at Lernerville’s Steel City Stampede will feature hot lap opportunity for drivers on Thursday, 10/9/25; qualifying and heat races on Friday, 10/10/25; and, B Main if needed on Saturday, 10/11/25 followed by the A Main Dow/Kyle Memorial feature paying $3,800 to win, $400 to start with additional payout for heat races and special awards.
Not only is this the final race of the season, the Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Touring Series Championship comes down to the final race. As of last weekend’s double header at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway’s Pittsburgher on Friday (Chris Schneider, winner) and Michael’s Mercer Raceway Little Guy Nationals (Andy Buckley, winner) on Saturday, two-time Touring Series Champion (2020 & 2022), Jackson Humanic, leaped ahead of 2017 Touring Series Point Champion, Bobby Whitling by 1 point. Keeping in mind one point race will be dropped, Humanic’s current drop points are 75 points, while Whitling’s drop points are 90 points. Touring series points are based on heat race and feature finishes. Whitling will need to gain 17 points over Humanic to capture the title. The battle will be something to keep and eye on and will be a great addition to the guaranteed exciting racing action.
As for weekly points action, the battle is just as intense and will come down to the wire with just 15 points separating the 5th place sitter, Chris Withers from the current point leader, Whitling. With a tie for 2nd and sitting 13 points behind Whitling, Jason Black and Brett Hutira will be ones to watch. Additionally, Tim Bish always putting on a good show and is in 4th, just 14 points from the lead. But of course, you can’t count out Brandon Connor, sitting in 6th, John Boardman, in 7th, Jake Dietz, 8th, Josh Seippel, 9th or Cody Koteles 10th as each can advance in the weekly point standings with a good showing this weekend.
