Homak POPS Update Points & Three Remaining Touring Events
The Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series Weekly and Touring points are updated on the website https://pennohioprostocks.com/pops-2025-points.
The points battle will come down to the final races of the season. Bobby Whitling remains at the top of both weekly and touring points with little room for error in the final weeks to come. In the weekly points chase, Whitling has 1,252 points and 9 points over 2nd place. Just 3 points separate 2nd, 3rd and 4th place sitters: Jason Black at 1,243; Brett Hutira at 1,242; and Chris Withers at 1,241. Currently in 5th is Brandon Connors with 1,233 just 19 points away from the top spot. Sixth through 10th place find John Boardman with 1,226, Tim Bish with 1,224, Josh Seippel with 1,216, Cody Koteles with 1, 213 and Jake Deitz with 1,206 just 46 points out of 1st.
Heat race finishes and feature finishes contribute to each touring race points. Whitling has 788 points, just 11 points over Jackson Humanic with 777. Brett Hutira has 742, 46 points from the top spot, followed by Tim Bish at 738 points, 50 away from Whitling. Hayden Fosnaught is in 5th place with 664 points. Drivers will drop their lowest touring points race at the end of the touring race schedule which will be the determine the champion. With three touring races left, it will truly come down to the final race of the season.
With back-to-back events, the Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Series will head to Night 1 of the Pittsburgher at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway on Friday, October 3 for the Bob Walters Memorial and then to Michael’s Mercer Raceway on Saturday, October 4 for Night 2 of Little Guy Nationals. The Series season finale is the Steel City Stampede at Lernerville on Friday and Saturday, October 10 and 11 for the Dow/Kyle Memorial. Drivers and fans will not want to miss the action-packed final touring races of 2025.
