It is going to be interesting to see how the points play out in the final weeks of racing.
After four Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Touring Series races in, our 2017 touring series champ, Bobby Whitling continues to command the touring points with 388 points. Tim Bish was able to close the gap to within 13 points after a solid 3rd place finish at Hummingbird. Jackson Humanic stays in the 3rd spot just 20 points from the lead. Brett Hutira sits in 4th with 351 points, 37 from leader, Whitling. Hutira picked up his first Homak Penn Ohio Series Touring race win at Hummingbird Speedway for the $1500 to-win Ina Memorial. Touring Series’ Registered drivers will have one drop race of the lowest points at the end of the season to determine the champion.
