Eriez Tour Event Canceled with Make-Up TBD and Weekend Race Winners
The Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series $1,200 to-win touring event at Eriez Speedway is canceled due to rain. Officials are working on a make-up date for what would have been the 3rd touring race of the 2024 season. The first two touring series’ races went to Joshua Seippel at Latrobe Speedway for $1,200 and Christian Schneider at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway for $3,517 in the Ed Laboon Memorial. The remaining 2024 touring dates at sanctioning tracks include: July 14th at Tri City Raceway; July 20th at Marion Center Raceway; August 10th at Hummingbird Speedway; August 21st at Lernerville Speedway; September 6-7th at Sharon Speedway.
Three Homak Penn Ohio Series sanctioning tracks saw racing action over the weekend: Hidden Valley, Hummingbird, and Sharon Speedway. Brandon Connor picked up 2 additional Homak Penn Ohio Series’ sanctioning track wins (Hidden Valley and Hummingbird) bringing his total sanctioned wins in 2024 to 7. Curtis Bish captured the victory at Sharon Speedway.
