HOMAK PENN OHIO PRO STOCK SERIES HEADS DOWN THE HOMESTRETCH: CHAMPIONSHIP BATTLES HEAT UP FOLLOWING SHARON RAINOUT

Stoneboro, PA — Mother Nature dealt a hand to the Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Series last weekend, forcing a rainout at Sharon Speedway. However, the championship chase is far from over as the region’s premier Pro Stock warriors prepare for an explosive finish to the 2026 season.

With only two crown jewel touring events remaining, the spotlight now shifts to Eriez Speedway this weekend for crucial weekly bonus points before the final championship showdowns.

The Road to the Crown: Final Two Touring Races Set

The race for the 2026 Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Touring Championship comes down to two iconic events:

  • October 2, 2026: The prestigious Bob Walters Memorial at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway (PPMS) in Imperial, PA.

  • October 15–17, 2026: The blockbuster season finale at the Steel City Stampede hosted by Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA.

Jackson Humanic currently sits atop the touring standings with 446 points, but Brandon Connor (441) and Jimmy Fosnaught (431) are keeping heavy pressure on the leader, setting up a dramatic conclusion.

Weekend Bonus Opportunity at Eriez Speedway

Before heading to PPMS, weekly Penn Ohio Series members have a massive opportunity to pad their stats this upcoming weekend. Competitors will have a shot at 10 valuable bonus points during the September Sweep at Eriez Speedway, which could drastically alter the final shape of the weekly standings.
