HOMAK PENN OHIO PRO STOCK SERIES HEADS TO SHARON SPEEDWAY FOR THE APPLE FESTIVAL NATIONALS THIS WEEKEND

Stoneboro, PA — The thrill-seeking action of the Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series rolls into Sharon Speedway this Friday and Saturday, September 11–12, 2026, for one of the most prestigious events on the regional dirt racing calendar: the annual Apple Festival Nationals. 

Drivers across the region will battle wheel-to-wheel on the Hartford oval in a packed two-day show featuring preliminary heat qualifying on Friday night and high-stakes, $2,000 to-win feature racing on Saturday night.

With point races coming down to the wire in both the Touring and Weekly championships, every lap will carry massive title implications.

Drivers will need to complete the 2026 Sharon registration and bring it with you or email it to pr@sharonspeedway.com. There is no registration fee paid to Sharon. A $35 registration fee will be paid at the Penn Ohio Pro Stock table upon pulling a pill.

CHAMPIONSHIP POINT BATTLES INTENSIFY

In the Touring Series standings, Jackson Humanic (#17) leads the pack with 372 points, holding a razor-thin 6-point margin over Brandon Connor (#55C). Jimmy Fosnaught (#20J) sits just 11 points back in third, keeping the championship fight Wide Open as the tour invades Sharon Speedway.

In the Weekly Championship standings, Brandon Connor (#55C) controls the top spot with 1,220 points, holding a 14-point advantage over contender Jason Black (#5B) with John Boardman (#777) closely trailing in third place.
