Weekend Results for 9/8-9/10/23 & Updated Points
Due to the rainy forecasts this past weekend, most Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock sanctioning tracks were forced to cancel racing action. The only point race for Series’ members occurred at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 9th.
Making his way to the PPMS winner’s circle for the 3rd time and marking his 4th Homak Penn Ohio Series’ win in 2023, Cody Koteles defeated the 11-car field. With the victory, Koteles gained 4 points on current points leader, Tyler Dietz, and second place sitter, Tim Bish. Koteles now sits just 27 points behind Dietz and 14 points away from Bish.
Marion Center’s pre-scheduled $1,000 to-win show originally scheduled for September 23rd will now take place on Saturday, September 16th. Additional upcoming bonus point races include:
Michael’s Mercer Raceway on Friday, September 29th and Saturday, September 30th; Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway on Friday, September 29th; and, Lernerville on Friday, October 13th-Saturday, October 14th.
