Marion Center Raceway on Saturday, May 28, 2022

Many of the Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series members made their first ever appearance at Marion Center Raceway on Saturday, May 28, 2022 to partake in the Keystone 40 sponsored by Keystone Rail Recovery.  Twenty-five (25) pro stocks were set to battle for the $2,000 big check and earn points for the touring series, as well as bonus points for the weekly series.
Andrew Gordon is not a newbie to Marion Center Raceway and used that to his advantage in his #25 STAAR Trucking sponsored Roostit Chassis.  Gordon, a well known stock car chassis builder, started the night as fastest qualifier in his group and fastest qualifier overall.  He went on to win his heat race and capture the $300 Keystone Rail Recovery dash win from his 2nd starting position.  Taking the green in the pole position, Gordon would lead all 40 laps to take home the $2,000 payday and the bragging rights.
Fastest qualifiers in groups:
(A) Andrew Gordon, 25 (16.326)
(B) Tim Bish, 11B (16.500)
(C) Chris Schneider, 55 (16.553)
Heat race winners were: Gordon, T. Bish and Schneider.
