Homak POPS powered by Can-Am Knox Results, Touring & Weekly Point Standings

Congratulations to Brandon Connor #55 on picking up the Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series touring event $1,200 win at Knox Raceway on Sunday, August 21, 2022.  Despite the unpredictable weather forecast, Knox officials took a gamble to get the show in and it paid off.  Two heat races were run for the Penn Ohio pro stocks with Hunter Exley #23HJR and Andrew Gordon #25 taking the checkers.  Brandon Connor took the lead away from Gordon early in the 20-lap feature and would cruise his way to victory.  Gordon slipped back to finish in 4th.  Bobby Whitling #7W came home in 2nd, Exley in 3rd, Gordon in 4th, Point leader Jackson Humanic #17 finished in 5th, Jason Fosnaught #J19 in 6th, Bob Sloss #44B in 7th (sub driver for Aden Boozell), Allen Lamb #104 in 8th, Jay Blum #51J in 9th, Tyler Wyant #24 in 10th, and Josh Seippel #84s in 11th.

 

Two more touring races left in the 2022 season: October 1st at Michael’s Mercer Raceway and October 14th-15th at Lernerville Speedway.   Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series powered by Can-Am touring members will earn points toward the touring series and weekly members will earn 25 bonus points toward the weekly series for each of the events.  Additionally weekly members have lots of racing opportunities at sanctioning tracks in the next month and a half to chase the 2022 Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series Weekly Points Championship Crown.  A driver’s highest 15 points will be used.
